Hello beauty junkies, I discovered a new face wash that I have to share with you. I almost exclusively use Olay or Philosophy when it comes to skincare but when I went to Walgreen’s to replace my face wash, this lovely yellow bottle caught my eye. Dickinson’s Witch Hazel has been around for over 100 years and normally comes in a toner or facial wipes but they just added this new facial cleanser to their line of products. Because it’s a new product it was on a special sale of $2.66 and it came with a full cash back coupon to mail in. So it basically would have been free if I wasn’t too lazy to mail in the instant rebate.
Witch hazel has been used as a home remedy since the beginning of time and is known to reduce acne, balance out the skin, remove impurities, reduce itching, and even treat varicose veins.
This cleanser is soft and creamy and leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean and smooth. It removes every trace of makeup while keeping my skin hydrated. The smell is kind of interesting, I don’t know how else to put it. It’s not a strong smell and it isn’t awful but it isn’t great either, I can only assume that’s from the witch hazel. But the smell doesn’t linger and is gone as soon as it’s rinsed off.
This wash is non-comedogenic and perfect for sensitive skin. Try it now at the introductory price before it jumps up to the full retail price.
I am totes going to try this!
This is good to know. I have tried everything from Burts Bees but way to oily. I’ve tried every product too at whole foods almost. I do the at home facial with the Riiviva Microdermabrasion tool for my acne scarring and it’s terrific. Its here at http://www.riiviva.com.
Do you have any recommendations as to what avenue to take for moisturizing with out all the oily residue that happens when I use oils. Thanks
Thanks for your comment Alice, I will check out Riiviva. As for a good moisturizer for oily skin, I’ve heard wonderful things about Ahava mattifying moisturizer.
I’m impressed, I have to admit. Rarely do I encounter a blog that’s equally educative and engaging, and
without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head.
The problem is an issue that not enough folks are speaking intelligently about.
Now i’m very happy that I stumbled across
this in my hunt for something regarding this.
Thank you so much for the kind words.
This is my favorite cleanser, it has improved my skin tone and quality more than anything else, and I’ve tried many top of the line products. I love it and highly recommend it!
