I’m excited the challenge is winding down, it’s getting harder to come up with outfits. I decided to remix my striped cardi with this black Hurley dress that has been sitting in my closet for a year with the tags on. This dress has a fairly large cutout at the back which I’m not totally… Continue reading 30 for 30 Challenge-Day 20
This Monday was much better than last Monday, no calamities happened. However, I was lazy and cold this morning so my outfit is pretty run of the mill. I started with a plain white tank and layered on a grey cardi from Target. When this challenge is over, I’m tempted to go back through the… Continue reading 30 for 30 Challenge-Day 19
So my outfit may not be the most creative but considering I didn’t get to sleep until 3am and still managed to get to work by 9:30, I think I did pretty good. My love of midnight movie premieres means you have to sacrifice a few hours of sleep every once in a while. It… Continue reading 30 for 30 Challenge-Neutral Friday
I wanted to remix this leopard-print cardi in a completely different way then the first time when I paired it with jeans for the challenge. I looked through my closet and voila! This pretty pink dress popped out at me and an outfit was born. I got this tiered-ruffle dress a couple of years ago but don’t get a chance to wear it often because it has a small bleach spot on the back.
If something you love has a small stain or tear that you can’t fix, don’t throw it away. First see if you can disguise it cleverly with layers or accessories.
I’m going to the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn tonight and then going home to get as much sleep as I can before getting up for work in the morning, so forgive me if tomorrow’s outfit is a dud.
The last two days I have felt frumpy and not very photogenic so I’ll let the clothes do most of the talking. Day 15: I really love this black blazer, it’s lightweight with three-quarter length flared sleeves and has a ruched center back seam. The flared jeans are from a discontinued premium denim line called… Continue reading 30 for 30 Challenge:Days 15 & 16
The challenge is starting to get difficult and I really had to try hard this morning to find an outfit I hadn’t already wore. It didn’t help that I got up way early this morning and work was kind of a disaster. By the time I got a chance to take this picture the sun… Continue reading 30 for 30 Challenge-Case of the Mondays
It feels good to almost be at the half-way point in this little fashion adventure. I like to keep it mellow on Fridays (It’s called casual Friday for a reason). Today I paired my black Levi’s skinny jeans with a white tee. I layered on a drapey blue sweater with a plunging neckline and cropped… Continue reading 30 for 30 Challenge-Day 13
I decided to take some fashion risks today and mix stripes and florals. It all started when I bought an adorable floral skirt from a sample sale at work for 1$, that’s right 1$. I don’t wear skirts very often for starters and didn’t know how to wear a skirt covered in flowers. Since the… Continue reading 30 for 30 Challenge-Mixing Stripes and Florals
Today was a good day because I got to rock my new combat boots for the first time, I’ll get to them in a minute. Today I wore a simple white tee and a cozy marled cardigan by Element. I love the oversized shawl collar and the asymmetrical button closures. I also wore military-green skinnies… Continue reading 30 for 30 Challenge-Boots Edition
I can’t believe I’ve made it to day 10 in the challenge! This challenge is really forcing me to look at my clothes in a new way and think about all of the possibilities. I decided to keep it simple today and wear my adorable leopard print cardi that I got for 50% off at… Continue reading 30 for 30 Challenge-Day 10
