I love a good Avon haul and couldn’t resist trying one of their mascaras, they were on a special sale for $5.49. I chose Avon’s SuperExtend Winged Out Mascara, it won a “Best Beauty Buy” of 2015 award and is supposed to be comparable to Fiberwig.
Avon describes this mascara as a breakthrough precision-tapered brush with hundreds of fine filigree bristles captures every lash, drawing them up and out. Raven black lengthening fibers wrap and lift each individual lash for a long, fluttery multidimensional look.
I found this mascara to be good for the price, it went on smooth with no clumping. It did add length as it claimed but it wasn’t a major change. I wish the formula was slightly thicker too. I like my lashes to look a bit more dramatic. Overall, I’d say this mascara is worth a try for the price but it won’t be replacing my beloved Maybelline the Falsies anytime soon. B+
